A Care Guide

Like anything that you buy, you need to take a little extra care of it so you can get as much wear out of it as possible, so here are a few handy tips to get the best use out of your Ocean wave Braids products. The Hair is sent in our PVC Pouches, please don't bin them, these should be kept for storing your hair before and after use, keeping them protected and away from direct sunlight. Straight Hair Extensions: - Before and after each use, spray with water and brush (hold firmly to the black hair tie and clear bands as you brush the extension. Highly recommend our Mermaid detangling brushes. - Trim any loose tinsel or strands at the bottom. - You can use detangling spray or anti frizz mousse, run your fingers through the hair with the product. - Hair straighteners can be used on the standard extensions NOT TO BE USED ON GLOW HAIR - Keep the PVC pouch to pop the hair back in after every use. - Keep out of direct sunlight so the bands don't deteriorate - If you find any loose hair coming up from the clear bands, pull strand down tightly and roll clear band up to the top of black hair tie. - If hair needs to be washed, do this in a sink with water and conditioner or fabric softener. Ring dry and hang up - If you find a band breaks or is worn out, replace the clear band, by tieing the black hair tie on a door handle or hook and hold coloured piece firmly while you tie the clear band around the top. I recommend the clear Bands from Coles (brand Scunci) Hair is synthetic with tinsel and will more likely get knotty and tangled if worn lose rather than plaited. Keep away from animals. Prolong the look when wearing hair by avoiding trampolines, bouncy castles, rough play or Beaches Wavy Hair Extensions - Try not to brush these too much to avoid straightening out the curls, but they can be brushed with a detangling brush, like our ones. - You can bring back the curls by using curling products - You can use detangling spray or anti frizz mousse, run your fingers through the hair with the product. - Trim any loose tinsel or strands at the bottom. - If hair needs to be washed, do this in a sink with water and conditioner or fabric softener. Ring dry, scrunch, and hang up Glitter Gels - Keep the seal protection in the lid - do not throw away. - Always firmly put the lid on so gel doesn't dry out. - Only use a little bit at a time as gel spreads really well.
